When stops are too close, it slows down the whole bus system. When stops are too far apart, riders lose time accessing stops or might not be able to reach a stop.

The Bus Stop Optimization Pilot Program, an element of the Bus Network Improvement Project (BNIP)'s Phase One Plan, aims to ensure that bus stops are adequately spaced apart to increase bus efficiency by reducing the number of stops a bus makes. Careful consideration has be taken to ensure bus stops are not spaced too far apart to decrease ridership.

When leaving a comment, please be specific about what bus stop you are referring to.
