BNIP Phase One focuses on improving reliability, efficiency, real-time notification, and connections to new job centers. The service changes proposed to take effect on or around Feb., 8, 2015 result in:

  1. A new bus line, the 31, which will better connect Downtown, Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton Crossing, and Dundalk.
  2. Improved reliability on the 11 and 20 lines by shortening them and transferring some of their services to other lines.
  3. Improved efficiency of service by transferring the 30 line service between Edmondson Village and City Hall to the 20 line, creating a single, high-frequency bus line to serve that corridor.
  4. A new bus line, the 26, to improve transit access to the new jobs available at the Amazon Distribution Center along Broening Highway.

We want to hear your thoughts on these proposed service changes. You can attend one of our five public hearings, email your comments to MTAHearingRecord@mta.maryland.gov or mail them. Comments are accepted until 5:00 PM, November 20, 2014.

More details on the hearings and changes are available in the TOPIC DETAILS section or below or at the February Service Change Proposals page.

Comments on MindMixer are for DISCUSSION AND DIALOG ONLY, and will not be part of the official hearing comment record. However, they will be considered by MTA staff when finalizing the proposed service changes.
